Tahitian Noni International has sold more than $4 Billion in sales and paid its Consultants over $2 Billion in royalties and bonuses. Its flagships product TAHITIAN NONI® Juice is listed in the Physician's Desk Reference For Non-prescription Drugs and Dietary Supplements (PDR), featured on the Discovery Channel, sells a bottle somewhere in the world every 1.8 seconds, and is a "First of its Kind" product which has started a whole new industry.

Our Mission

We are dedicated to improving the lives of our customers and distributors by producing the most innovative, highest-quality noni-based products possible.

Our Story

We opened our doors for business in July 1996 with a single product—TAHITIAN NONI® Juice. We knew the health benefits of noni were powerful, but nothing could have prepared us for the explosive growth that followed.

The effectiveness of TAHITIAN NONI® products has led to incredible growth and expansion. Our first year's sales totaled well over $6 million; now, less than 10 years later, our yearly sales exceed $500 million. Tahitian Noni International does business in over 70 countries and has a wide offering of noni-based products, including healthy menu selections found at seven Tahitian Noni Cafe©s™ worldwide.

We have adopted the heritage of Tahiti as our own and do all we can to preserve the purity of her lands and people. The Tahitians are our full partners in bringing the benefits of noni to the world, and their economy has benefited tremendously from the jobs and growth the noni fruit has produced.

4000–2000 BC:

More than two thousand years ago, the ancestors of the Polynesian people left Southeast Asia in search of new horizons across the sea. In addition to their families, these explorers carried with them sacred plants necessary to sustain life—the coconut, the pandanus, the taro, and the precious noni, which was prized as a secret to health. These "canoe plants" were eventually cultivated in the volcanic islands of Tahiti. With rich soil and clean air, the noni plant thrived. Ancient Ayurvedic texts call noni Ashyuka, which is Sansktrit for "longevity." The texts explain that noni balances the body, stabilizing it in a state of perfect harmony.

Shon Whitney

Vice President of Marketing Communications

Born and raised on the sunny beaches of Orange County, California, Shon could never have imagined that one day he would live on the opposite side of the Pacific Ocean. Even his days completing Asian Studies at Brigham Young University (BYU) couldn't have prepared him for the life he would lead in the very countries he was learning of. Nevertheless, this California native would travel from the land where the sun sets, to the land where the sun rises.

After receiving an MBA from the BYU Marriott School of Management, Shon Whitney went to work for BellSouth in Washington, D.C.; Dayna Communications, a Macintosh networking company that was eventually purchased by Intel; and as VP of Operations for Focus Enhancements in Boston. It was while he was there that a former classmate from BYU, Kelly Olsen, approached him about a little company called Morinda (now known as Tahitian Noni International). When Kelly asked him to open Taiwan, TNI's first Asian market, Shon jumped at the opportunity. Taiwan had record growth under his leadership and TNI quickly became one of the top companies in that country.

Eighteen months later, Shon was asked to open Hong Kong and Macau for business. Four years passed and Shon was once again approached with the opportunity to open yet another Asian market, this time in Korea. After six years of experience in the Asian market, Shon returned to the U.S. to become the Regional General Manager of TNI's North America market. Shon has now been asked to take on a new challenge as Vice President of Marketing Communications.

'It is a great blessing to be part of such an amazing company with a phenomenally dynamic future,' states Shon. 'I love this company, I love TAHITIAN NONI® products, and I love our future.' That excitement is hard to miss when you talk with Shon—and it's incredibly infectious.

Shon and his wife Shelly live in Provo, Utah and are the proud parents of six children.
